Dear Prodigals Talk 1: Come Home

God Misses You—Come Home!

Welcome to our brand new exciting series, Dear Prodigals.

Today, as we introduce the series, you’ll hear the simple but powerful message, “Come Home!”

Dear friend, have you been away from God?

Have you been avoiding Him?

Have you prioritized other things?

Have your distractions pulled you away from Him?

God misses you.

It’s time to return to Him.

God is your home. Come back!

Return to the Lord. Run to Jesus. Because of what He did, forgiveness is waiting for you. A feast is waiting for you.

May your dreams come true,

Bo Sanchez

Ano nga ba ang isang tahanan?

It’s quite providential to start our new talk series called “DEAR PRODIGALS” when we just came back home to The Feast SM Manila. “Prodigals” are people who have returned after a period of absence. We have just returned to our home in SM Manila after three long years, and GOD wants to inspire us with HIS Words from the Book of Deuteronomy.

Our very first talk in this brand-new series reiterates our call to come home! After wandering in the desert of illness, fear, uncertainties, and suffering, we have come home to the place where abundance overflows and broken hearts get healed. We may have gone through a period of tribulations, but now, we are back home—the place where our joy resides.

PRAISEcription: Always come back home!

Be well and make a difference,

Doc Ryan B. Capitulo

The Hesitant Warrior

“The Lord told Gideon, “with these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Medianites. Send all the others home.”

5 messages from the story of a Hesitant Warrior.

1. You’re chosen, not just called.

The Lord knows you and that’s why he has chosen you. We have weaknesses but God is our strength. We are unworthy but God is worthy. We have all the excuses to think that we’re not to be chosen, but still, God chose us. And one thing is for sure, as Kuya Lep said “Nananatili ang Diyos sa kanyang mga pinipili.”

2. Dethrone your idols.

We all have something that is distracting us that’s why we can’t give our focus to God. That something is what we have to let go of. We have to dethrone sin and put God on the throne, in the center of our lives. We have to give and pour our all to God so that He may be in us.

3. God is patient.

God is patient even when we have questions and are doubting. Sometimes we have doubts if we are really doing good. We have doubts that God is really with us. And we doubt if we can really be good. But give your doubt to God because God can handle it. God can and He is able.

4. Stay obedient to your King.

We are called to be obedient warriors of God. It will get hard and we may be weak, but stay and believe that God is with us. Stay faithful to our King because God is our strength.

5. God is already working on your victory.

Along this long road everyday battle against sin, we might get wounded and surely we will get hurt, but at the end of the day know and believe that we will still emerge victorious. We will not be defeated because our Lord is by our side. God will never fail you.
